My friend and I were supposed to meet a guy at 11 Today, and my friend abruptly put a message yesterday that his manager wanted him to be at office today. He works in a corporate and has to deal with psychopaths regularly, he has cultivated the habit of acceptance, obedience, and nature of non-questioning, even if his boss does something idiotic. It’s like ADMK people bowing to Jayaalitha and licking her car’s tire to show their obedience or like the DMK people bowing to Karunadhi family.

I used to wonder why I do not face psychopaths in my current job? Information Technology is relatively high paying field & hence people who are attracted to money even though they possibly don’t love tech, and people who don’t know how they can help the world by doing tech dominate this industry and ruin lives of everyone in it. There are very few pockets where true tech survive, in those places somehow listening leaders lead. Looks like i found a contract in such a tiny island amidst bloodthirsty sharks just by chance.

Yesterday we were having a meeting where some coding metrics did not reflect in spreadsheet. Our manager despite having a deadline to submit it, did not get wild, he did not stress out people, but he explained his problem, he said what he will face with his seniors. That’s clear communication. I was happy I found a good person in my office.

I don’t know what makes him such a gentleman in a field so rich with scoundrels. He is a devout Christian as far as I know, may be going to Church, may be reading the bible and disciplining himself had made him such person? I don’t know. He did behave well despite news leaking out that he too had fair share of problems, he never seems to dump this frustration on others.

One other same type of guy I encountered was Mr. Joe Mathew, I encountered him while I worked in a company called Zanec. Zanec did have its fair share of Psychopaths, but Joe protected us. He was a Kerala Christian, based in Australia, having a company named Software Worx. After his project got over, life in Zanec became a bit of hell. I am no person to deal with politics, I am here for productivity and I quit.

There is also another extremely disciplined guy named Vijay Vincent who I met in a company called Francium. He was a business development guy there. Francium consisted of lots of people who studied in BITS Pillani, and we all know people who come out of it have head weight, don’t respect humans and behave like Psychos. It was rumored one of its boss was raised in an Army family and had an abusive childhood, he too behaved psychopath, it was good to tlk to him about tech, but when it comes to dealing with problems, he would happily dump on others head rather than trying to solve it, it also looked like he couldn’t stand if someone smiled before him. Among those psychos, Vijay was a gentleman, a true Christian.

I wish God really existed and rewards these good souls, but if God did exist, why would so many evil people would have been created in the first place?
