In one of the companies known to me, a very good person who is the boss of it was putting pressure on design-developer, it was not something about the tech part of it but it was about the way developer was dressed. The developer was dressed very decently, yet the boss just because he wanted to prove his superiority was pointing out that his shirt was not tugged into his pant. He made it look like a big mistake.

As a boss of tech company he did not concentrate on improving the skills and tech ability of people who worked there, but concentrated on what he calls discipline. If there is discipline in code and profession then that’s good, but if discipline is nothing but obeying your boss and fitting into the culture, then its a sign of very bad boss. By this way that boss has built up a company not by collecting innovators but by collecting goats who’s brains believe what their boss believes. They believe it in passionate and blind way.

I am studying that company, finding out what they do right and wrong. Its interesting.
